The Admiral's Antics
In a corner dim, where shadows curl, An admiral’s hat did twist and twirl, Caught in a web, both silky and fine, The eight-legged artist, in a grand design. With eight hairy legs, it wove and spun, Through ribbon and lace, a dance for fun, The admiral frowned, his ship at bay, “Now how will I lead the fleet today?” “Dear spider,” he called, “release my pride! I’m not here to dance, I must sail the tide!” But the spider just giggled, a mischievous sort, “Your hat’s a fine trophy, a marvelous fort!” So they struck a deal, both oddball and strange, The admiral, proud, would share some change, For a hat unscathed, and a web to unwind, A friendship was forged, both gracious and kind. Now on the ship, a new tale to tell, Of an admiral’s hat and a web where he fell, In the sails of the sea, their story takes flight, Where spiders and sailors are friends, oh what a sight!
The Admiral's Web
In a corner of the cabin, spun a curious thread, A spider with ambitions far beyond her bed. She weaved her tales of sailors bold, Of battles fought, and treasures untold. Admiral Bluebeard, with swagger and pride, Would listen in wonder, eyes open wide. "Tell me, dear spider, of the brave crew you’ve met!" And she’d spin him a yarn he never could forget. "There’s Captain Crab, with pincers so fierce, And Scurvy the parrot, whose beak could pierce. We sailed through the storms, on waves that would roar, While the barnacle pirates swarmed to the shore!" With eight tiny legs, she'd dance on the spool, Crafting her stories, making him drool. As the sun set low on the horizon of blue, The admiral chuckled, "What more can you do?" “From sailing the seas to the heights of the stars, I’ll chart every voyage, I’ll map all your scars. So hoist up your sails and ready your crew, For even in fabric, fierce battles ensue!" And as the night faded, they'd laugh and they’d feast,\nOn tales of the ocean, both grand and least. An unlikely pair, but united through lore, The spider and admiral, forever encore!
The Admiral and the Spider
In the captain's quarters, where orders are clear, An eight-legged wonder, with nary a fear, Spins a web of silk, like a sail in the breeze, While the Admiral chuckles, all set to appease. "What do you seek, with your legs all a-twirl?" "A treasure of flies, or some shiny pearl?" "I’m charting the course for a banquet so grand, With bug-scouting skills that you’d never have planned!" The Admiral laughs, adjusting his hat, "My ship’s made for battles, not bugs, take a spat!" But the spider just dances, with mischief in sight, A sea of silk spun beneath the moonlight. So together they navigate the night’s crafty guise, A blend of two worlds—captain and flies, In the realm of the ocean, where laughter shall spark, An Admiral and spider—how strange, yet so stark!
