Rain of Laughter
When conversations flow like rivers wide,
A sudden splash, a playful slide,
An unexpected joke, a quip in flight,
Drops like rain—what a perfect sight!
You tell a tale, you’re building speed,
Then someone chimes in, oh, such misdeed!
The punchline thunders, laughter spills,
Clouds of giggles, fulfilling thrills.
Just as the sun breaks out in gleam,
Comes a quip that shatters your dream,
A sprinkle, a downpour, a well-timed pun,
Turning your chat into pure, joyful fun.
So embrace the storms that scatter delight,
For interrupting laughs make dull moments bright,
In the whimsical space where jokes collide,
We find in the chaos, joyous ride!
Verse Interrupted
In the midst of my lines, a pause I had planned,
To weave words like silk, with the touch of my hand.
But lo! From the shadows, a voice cuts the air,
"Hey, what are you doing? I'm trying to share!"
With a start and a fumble, my brilliance awry,
I stammer and stumble, my rhythm says bye.
Yet laughter erupts, as the muse takes a bow,
They say interruption brings poetry wow!
So here's to the moments that break up the flow,
Where silence is shattered and giggles will grow.
A parody crafted, in chaos we write,
Interrupting the poet—what a glorious sight!
Stolen Lines and Sudden Laughs
A stanza stolen, oh what fun,
The poet’s words on the run!
Just as I’m rhyming, here comes a shout,
Interrupting my flow, there’s laughter about!
“Excuse me!” says the cat with grace,
“Your meter’s off, let me take my place.”
In fits of giggles, we scribble anew,
Parody’s magic, in laughter we’re through!
