Echoes of Silence
Footsteps echo in abandoned trenches,
Forgotten scars of battles past,
Silent whispers of long-lost chances,
Where soldier's hopes were laid to rest.
The mud-stained walls, the rusted steel,
Bear witness to the agony of time,
Ghosts of valor, steel and zeal,
In hallowed ground, echoes of a rhyme.
Nature creeps through with gentle grace,
Yet memories linger, heavy and bold,
In every shadow, in every space,
The stories of the brave, untold.
Each footfall stirs the dust of years,
A haunting sigh, a lingering breath,
In this silent theater, among the tears,
Lives the tale of life and death.
Threads of Valor
In tattered flags where stories dwell,
Threads of valor weave and swell,
Each frayed edge, a whisper low,
Of battles fought, of hearts aglow.
Ink-stained rags from distant shores,
Echoes of brave, unyielding roars,
The fabric holds no easy tale,
Yet in the weave, we rise or fail.
Colors bleed, yet spirits soar,
Through smoke and strife, we seek for more,
A tapestry of hope and strife,
In every seam, the pulse of life.
Echoes of Valor
In quiet shadows, medals rust,
Beneath the dust of time's cruel trust.
Each glint a story, lost but bold,
Of warriors fierce, and hearts of gold.
A battlefield once roared with cries,
Now silent whispers form the skies.
For every valor once proclaimed,
A nameless soul's heroism tamed.
Rusty emblems of battles past,
In memories forged, forever cast.
Upon their surface, echoes dwell,
Reminders of tales they cannot tell.
