Caffeine Catastrophe
In a world where I’m supposed to shine,
I juggle dreams with coffee, oh divine.
With a mug in hand, I fake my charm,
Yet every swirl ends in a liquid alarm.
I’ve got meetings and plans, oh so grand,
But my balance is less like a steady hand.
As I stride with poise, I trip on a thought,
And down goes my latte — what a fine plot!
My resume shines with skills so bright,
Yet my morning routine is a comedic sight.
Adulting’s a dance where I spill with glee,
Each drop of coffee whispers, "You’re just like me!"
So here’s to the stumbles, the chaos, the glee,
In the art of adulting, I’m still learning, you see.
With coffee-stained papers and laughter on cue,
I’ll face the day bravely, though my shoes need a brew.
Dreams Beyond the Scream
As dawn breaks in a fiery blaze,
The alarm clock screams, it sets the stage.
With bleary eyes and tangled hair,
I curse the sound that fills the air.
Oh how the dreams had wrapped me tight,
In fields of gold, in endless flight.
Yet here I lie, a prisoner still,
Chains of routine, against my will.
Those vivid joys, they slip away,
As morning light brings forth the day.
Irony whispers, a comical tease,
Best dreams are lived when waking’s a breeze.
So I rise, but long to stay,
In dreamy realms where pretend I play.
An alarm clock’s cry may break the spell,
But in my heart, those dreams still dwell.
