The Clock's Delayed Wit
A clock hangs high with hands that slow,
Tick-tock, tick-tock—oh, where'd the time go?
It chimes at noon when it's well past three,
A jester in silence, late for a tea.
With gears all rusted, yet proudly it beams,
Sipping sweet moments, tripping on dreams.
When folks gather 'round for a sigh and a greet,
Our broken timekeeper scoffs—'I’m still on my beat!'
So here's to the clock that's never on cue,
In moments of laughter, it’s always so true.
For time is a game in this whimsical spree,
Where late is the laughter, and tea’s just the key.
The Graceful Slip
In a world where ice meets grace,
A penguin dances, finds his place.
With waddle proud, a sight to see,
Yet on a slick patch, he bends the knee.
Flapping wings in sheer delight,
He dreams of soaring, takes to flight.
But reality's grip, a frozen floor,
Turns his glide to a clumsy lore.
Oh, the irony bold, in every slip,
A creature of charm on a daring trip.
In thoughts he's a hero, in truth a fall,
The awkward ballet, a laugh for all!
The Light in Shadows
In the depths where shadows creep,
A jester laughs while others weep.
With twisted fate and irony's grace,
Hope winks softly in the darkest place.
A candle flickers where no one sees,
Amongst the ruins of shattered pleas.
Through laughter's echo, a truth displayed,
That joy can flourish where hearts have frayed.
So let the gloom be not your bane,
For in the sadness, life may reign.
In every jest, a flicker glows,
And hope's bright bloom forever grows.

Laughing at the Twist
In the garden where the thorns bloom bright,
A jester dances in the pale moonlight.
With every stumble, a giggle takes flight,
Oh, life’s cruel irony, what a delight!
The rain pours down in a sunny parade,
While umbrellas sprout in the shade we’ve made.
We chase our dreams, yet the path’s often frayed,
But laughter’s the balm when our plans have allayed.
From broken clocks to shoes that misfit,
In every mishap, there's a humor to knit.
So let’s toast to fate, with a wink and a split,
For in life's cruel twists, it’s joy that we emit.
