After the Storm
In shadows cast by tempest's roar,
Where laughter's echoes fled the shore,
I wandered through the drenched despair,
A heart once light, now stripped of air.
Yet from the mud, a blossom grew,
Each petal brushed in morning dew,
With vibrant hues that gently call,
A whisper soft, 'You will not fall.'
So rising like the sun's embrace,
I chase the light, reclaim my place,
With joy restored, I dance anew,
A spirit bold and skies of blue.
Resurrected Dreams
In shadows deep where hope lay lost,
A flicker glimmers, the scars embossed.
From ashes cold, the phoenix rise,
Reviving laughter, igniting skies.
Once draped in dust, dreams fade away,
But tender whispers beg to stay.
With every sigh, with every tear,
The thrill of joy begins to clear.
Capturing glances of moments past,
Resurrected courage, built to last.
For in the heart, a secret ground,
Where buried treasures can be found.
