Tears and Rain
Beneath the weeping willow's sway, In shadows where the lost dreams stay, The sky opens wide, a heavy gray, But tears fall thicker, in disarray. Each drop that falls, a whispered pain, A torrent drowns the heart’s refrain, For in the silence, love’s sweet strain, Is drowned beneath the falling rain. The clouds may weep, but I cry more, Echoes of longing, a heart's uproar, With every teardrop, memories roar, As deep as oceans, my spirit’s shore. So let the heavens pour their grief, For my own sorrow finds no relief, In every storm, there lies belief, That tears, it seems, surpass the leaf.
Flicker of Dawn
In the abyss where shadows creep, Hope flickers softly, a secret to keep. When the night is long and dreams are lost, In the silence, we find our cost. A fragile flame in a tempest's eye, Whispers of light that refuse to die. Though thunder roars and the sky may weep, Heart's ember glows, a promise to keep. Through battles fought in darkness deep, As spirits rise and burdens steep, Let not despair snuff out the spark, For dawn shall break, lighting the dark.
