Whispers in the Dark
In the hush of twilight’s sigh, Where faded memories softly lie, A dark river flows, unseen, unheard, Carrying whispers, a haunting word. Shadows dance on liquid glass, Echoes of moments that swiftly pass, Fragments of laughter, the weight of tears, Drifting through dreams, for all these years. In the depths, secrets entwine, Lost in the folds of the fold of time, Each ripple a story, a ghostly refrain, Of love once cherished, of loss and pain. Beneath the surface, the past awaits, In silence it lingers, as fate dictates, So let the river take what’s gone, And weave the past into the dawn.
Veil of Mist
In twilight’s breath, the river sighs, A shrouded whisper, where silence lies. Fog embraces like a lover's hold, A tapestry woven, soft and cold. Beneath the haze, old stories wait, Secrets murmur from a ghostly fate. The ripples dance, while shadows creep, In the heart of darkness, the waters keep. Echoes linger, lost in the gloom, As the world fades within the fog's tomb. The river flows, both calm and deep, Guarding dreams that the night will keep.
