Hymns of the Old Tree
In the embrace of branches wide, Where whispered tales of time abide, Nesting birds with voices sweet, Chant their hymns where heartbeats meet. Each note a wish, a tale retold, Of summers bright and winters cold, They weave their hope in dusky light, While shadows dance with fading night. Beneath the gnarled and ancient bark, Their melodies ignite a spark, In rustling leaves, they find a way, To sing of home at break of day. A symphony of calm and grace, These feathered souls in their safe space, Old tree, a guardian, wise and true, Where songs of love forever renew.
Whispers of the Ancients
In the hush of twilight's embrace, Old trees whisper to the night, Acorns, like dreams, in shadows chase, Giants await in their silent flight. Underneath the gnarled limbs, Fallen seeds in slumber drift, Cradled soft by nature's hymns, A promise held, the earth’s own gift. Each tiny shell, a world untold, Nurtured by whispers, roots so deep, Future giants, brave and bold, Rising forth from dreams we keep.
