Shadows of Laughter
In twilight's gleam, the shadows play,
With whispers soft, they dance away.
A flicker bright, a laugh so bold,
Their radiant joy, a sight to behold.
The moonlight winks at secrets kept,
Where darkness curls, and silence wept.
Yet in the gloom, a smile unfolds,
A paradox, this tale retold.
For every shade that dares to creep,
A hint of light, their pact to keep.
So let them twirl, those shades of night,
In shadows’ dance, we find the light.
Flickers in the Dark
In shadowed corners, whispers play,
Where laughter dances, ghosts of gray.
A fleeting smile, a soft light's tease,
In darkness, joy finds ways to please.
Like fireflies caught in twilight's breath,
Each grin a spark defying death.
A paradox in night’s embrace,
Where sorrow’s shape meets humor’s grace.
So let them flicker, these transient beams,
In the heart where light and shadow dreams.
For even in gloom, a smile will rise,
To paint the dark with hopeful skies.
