Eagle's Solitude
In twilight's glow, a lone eagle flies,
Tired yet free, beneath vastening skies.
A whispering wind tells tales from afar,
Where mountains stand sentry, each silent star.
Wings spread wide like the canvas of dreams,
Over valleys where the silver creek gleams.
Though weary of journey, its spirit won't cease,
In silence it finds the deepest of peace.
O eagle, you dance with the fading light,
Treading the border of day and of night.
Tired from roaming, yet still you ascend,
In flight, you discover that freedom won’t end.
Twilight Beneath the Peaks
As day retreats, the shadows blend,
Upon the mountains, weary, bend.
Golden hues in silence drown,
While twilight drapes a velvet gown.
Fingers long of dimming light,
Reach for stars in the coming night.
Each crag and crevice softly sighs,
In the hush where the evening lies.
Whispers of the wind resound,
In valleys deep where dreams abound.
Tired mountains bear the weight,
Of twilight’s soft and gentle fate.
