Tethered Dreams
In shadows cast by whispered fears,
Chains of doubt entwine my dreams,
Each hope a flicker, dim and small,
As burdens swell like rushing streams.
I walk a path of heavy stone,
Where every step is steeped in strife,
Yet in the depths, a spark remains,
A glimmering pulse, the breath of life.
Though shackles cling and shadows loom,
I'll break the bonds, let courage rise,
For even in the darkest room,
The heart can find a way to fly.
Backpacks of Dreams
In shadows cast by city lights,
Backpacks laden with silent flights,
Secrets whispered, tales untold,
In every stitch, a heart of gold.
From mountain highs to ocean shores,
Adventures hidden behind closed doors,
Each zipper holds a world unseen,
Of laughter shared and places been.
They carry weight, our hopes and fears,
The echo of our distant tears,
Yet every burden, a story's wing,
From heavy paths, new songs we sing.
So lift that load, breathe in the air,
For burdens shared are joys laid bare,
In every pack, a life defined,
Backpacks full of dreams entwined.
