Caught in Rhyme's Web
In the silken threads of thought they twine, Each word a prisoner, trapped in design. Whispers of sounds lend shape to the night, As shadows in stanzas dance with delight. Lines follow lines, yet hope to escape, Craving the freedom outside of this shape. But the more they struggle, the deeper they bind, Caught in a web, their destiny signed. Ode to the rhythm, that holds them so tight, Spinning their stories by flickering light. Yet in their confinement, a beauty does grow, In trapped, tangled verses, soft secrets still flow.
Caged Verses
In shadows deep where dreams reside, Words linger close, but hope has cried. Lines entwined in a silent dance, Yearning for the chance to chance. Fractured thoughts in a weary mind, Locked away, too scared to bind. Each stanza aches in whispered tones, A symphony of silent groans. So here I wait, beneath the sighs, For dawn to break and silence die. With every breath, I seek release, To weave my woes into sweet peace.
