Dancing the Line
Beneath the skies of endless blue,
A boy with dreams and a fishing line,
He casts his hopes where the waters shimmer,
As golden sands embrace the brine.
The rod bends low with whispered tales,
Of unseen fish that tease and tease,
While laughter weaves through salty gales,
In moments captured, heart at ease.
Each wave a story, each pull a thrill,
The sun dances softly on the ocean's crest,
With every cast, the boy finds still,
A treasure buried in nature's chest.
So let the line dangle, freely sway,
Tomorrow's catch may drift along,
In the heart of New Zealand, he'll find his way,
Where the boy and the sea forever belong.
The Rugby Dream
On fields where emerald whispers grow,
The New Zealand boy, with heart aglow,
Chases the ball, through sweat and cheer,
In the dance of rugby, he conquers fear.
With every tackle, the drumbeat strong,
In this game of spirits, where he belongs.
The sunlit sky, and the crowd’s loud roar,
A tapestry of dreams, woven evermore.
Lush green grass beneath his feet,
With each bold play, his victories greet.
In rugby’s embrace, the world feels right,
A boy and his team, under stars so bright.
