Alien eyes pierce with an otherworldly light.
From distant stars, they cast their sight,
Upon the fragile realm of our earthly plight.
What wonders lie, beneath their gaze?
Cities of steel, in ephemeral haze,
Nature's cradle, a vibrant maze,
Our fleeting lives, like mist in a blaze.
They watch with curiosity, yet weigh our scars,
Our battles fought beneath moon and stars.
In silence they linger, from afar they peep,
The war of worlds begins, as we drift into sleep.
Echoes of Desolation
In fields where laughter used to dance,
Now shadows stretch, a mournful trance.
Destruction blooms, as hope takes flight,
Beneath the stars, consumed by night.
The trees, once guardians, stand forlorn,
Their leaves now withered, their spirits worn.
A whisper of what was, a ghostly sigh,
Where life once flourished, now dreams lie.
The rivers weep, the mountains sigh,
Witnesses to the fallen sky,
Yet in the ashes, seeds may cling,
For from decay, new songs can spring.
