Echoes of Green
Beneath the frost, the whispers lie,
Of summer’s laughter, sweet and spry,
Brittle blades, in silence sway,
Recalling sunlit, golden day.
A tapestry of withered gold,
Nature’s story, soft and bold,
Each crunch beneath the wandering feet,
A memory sweet, now bittersweet.
In winter’s grasp, the meadow sleeps,
Yet in its heart, the summer keeps,
The echoes of a vibrant past,
Though seasons change, the beauty lasts.
Whispers in the Frost
In fields where laughter used to dance,
The winter grass lies still, entranced.
Echoes of joy, now soft and low,
Creep through the frost, in gentle flow.
Beneath a shroud of white and chill,
Memories linger, sweet and shrill.
With every sigh from the frozen ground,
The past awakens, a heart's soft sound.
Snowflakes tumble, a silent cheer,
As shadows of laughter reappear.
In whispered tones, the grasses speak,
Of vibrant summers, the warmth we seek.
