Echoes in the Shade
In the stillness of the night, My thoughts cast shadows, take their flight. Whispers linger, soft and low, Echoes of dreams in twilight's glow. They dance on walls, take shape and form, In silent corners where feelings swarm. Each flicker, a memory, brightly made, In the silent depths, my fears parade. In solitude, the shadows bloom, Reflections of a heart's consumed gloom. Yet in this darkness, truth finds way, Illuminating paths where shadows play. So let the echoes softly fall, In the embrace of shadowed hall, For in each murmur, I may find, The essence of my heart, enshrined.
Shadows of Truth
In twilight's hush, the shadows blend, They whisper secrets we won't defend. Behind our smiles, they dance and sway, Revealing truths we cast away. In corners dark where doubts reside, These shadows linger, they won't hide. They carry whispers of our plight, Shining softly in the night. Each flicker hints at stories spun, Of battles fought, of races run. Yet in their depth, a glimmer lies— The honest heart, without disguise. So let them stretch across the ground, Embrace the truths that can be found. For in the dark, where shadows lie, We find our strength, we learn to fly.
