After the Storm
In rubber boots, I splash through mud, The sky breaks free, no more the flood. Puddles mirror fleeting light, Sunshine dances, banishing night. The air, a kiss of earthy scent, A vibrant world, from nature's lent. With every step, my spirit soars, As rain retreats to distant shores. Here in the dream of summer’s call, Each droplet gleams, a jeweled thrall. The storm's embrace, a fleeting fear, But in its wake, the sun draws near.
Booted Adventures
In rubber boots of shining bright, A child leaps with pure delight, Through puddles wide and mud so deep, With giggles echoing, laughter leaps. Nature's challenge in every splash, The dance of raindrops, a joyful crash, With squelching steps, the world a play, Where little feet chase clouds away. Green grass whispers, flowers bow, Each tiny wonder, a promise now, In the muddy embrace, the heart feels free, In rubber boots, joy's sweet decree.
