Echoes of Youth
In the twilight of vibrant days, Whispers brush past like yesterday’s haze. Silent screams in the night, Fading embers, lost light. No more laughter in the bloom, Just the shadows of a looming gloom, Moons once bright, now pale and spent, The body, a home, with its past lament. Fleeting dreams of youthful flight, Scarves and laughter, a distant sight, Yet strength emerges, a deeper hue, In the silent screams, a woman anew.
Shedding Layers
In the twilight of the cycle's song, A shift takes root where I belong. Like autumn leaves in golden hues, I shed the past, embrace the new. With every pulse, the heat may rise, Yet wisdom glints behind these eyes. A blooming strength in every ache, The power found in all I break. I dance through shadows, light my flame, In every change, I find a name. From whispers lost to thunder’s call, I rise anew, I will not fall.
