Whispers of Time
In the quiet of the dusk, leaves descend, Cloaked in hues of gold, as days meet their end. Seasons weave their stories, each thread bittersweet, With whispers of time, underfoot, they meet. Gentle are the hands, that stroke our gray hair, Each wrinkle a tale, of joys and despair. Like autumn's embrace, we gather our grace, In the dance of the years, we find our place. Change is the constant, in life’s flowing stream, A fleeting reflection of every dream. For time, like the leaves, eventually must fall, But in the heart’s garden, we bloom through it all.
Whispers of Laughter
Once we danced in the light of day, Laughter echoed, bright and gay. In the garden of youth, we played so free, Now those sounds are just history. Time has etched its lines on our skin, Moments fade, yet memories spin. The echo of joy, a sweet refrain, A shadow that lingers, a twinge of pain. But in the silence, we find our peace, Each chuckle a thread that will never cease. For though we age and the end draws near, Our laughter rings on, forever clear.
