Lament of the Minstrels
In shadows deep where whispers dwell,
The bards with lutes their stories tell,
Of love's sweet bloom, of trust entwined,
And hearts that break, once so aligned.
She was a rose in summer’s breath,
He swore his heart till dust and death,
Yet betrayal slipped through lover's grasp,
A dagger’s kiss, a bitter clasp.
Beneath the stars, they danced, they dreamed,
In feast and fire their passion gleamed,
But fate's cruel hand had other schemes,
To shatter hope and taint their dreams.
Oh, sing we now of joy and pain,
Of fleeting skies that cry with rain,
For love's sweet song, though frail and slight,
Is etched in stars that light the night.
Dusk's Revelations at Camelot
As shadows gather, whispers blend,
The Round Table's secrets softly wend,
Beneath the twilight's velvet cloak,
Legends murmured, memories spoke.
Knights in armor, tales now hushed,
In candlelight, their fears and lust,
A chalice raised, betrayal feigned,
In twilight's grasp, their truths unchained.
From Lancelot's heart, forbidden love,
To Arthur's honor, starred above,
The gentle murmur of Guinevere's sigh,
As dusk falls deep, silence will not lie.
Secrets cloaked in shimmering haze,
The valor fades in golden rays,
Yet here, at dusk, their fables bloom,
In shadows' dance, revealing doom.
