Whispers of the Grove
In shadows deep where silence grows,
The trees they weep, their sorrow flows.
With branches bowed, in mournful sway,
They bear the weight of skies turned gray.
Once vibrant green, now tattered, torn,
Their leaves a whisper, a heart forlorn.
Nature mourns without a sound,
In every breeze, her grief is found.
Roots soaked in tears where wildflowers wilt,
A melody of loss in the flowers' guilt.
Yet hope endures in whispered prayer,
For healing comes when we show we care.
Emerald Resilience
In concrete jungles, gray and tall,
Where shadows stretch and silence calls,
Through cracks in stone, the green may creep,
A tender sprout where sorrows heap.
Against the weight of steel and stone,
Hope rises up, a seed once sown,
With every leaf that dares to thrust,
It whispers: ‘Here, you too can trust.’
In hardened hearts, let life unfold,
As green and gold reclaim the cold,
For in the depths of urban plight,
A fragile bloom ignites the night.
