Waves of Worry
In the hush of twilight's sigh, Waves of worry, a tempest nigh. Rushing forth like tides unbound, Crashing on the shores, profound. Each swell, a whisper of doubt, Engulfing dreams, twisting about. Salt of sorrow, the breeze does carry, Heavy hearts, no light to tarry. Yet amidst the stormy thrall, A heartbeat echoes, a silent call. From troubled depths, the sun may rise, To cast away the clouded skies.
Drowning in Echoes
In a tempest of whispers, I find no rest, Voices collide, a cacophony pressed. Each word a wave, crashing over my mind, In the chaos of sound, clarity’s blind. They pull at my senses, distract and entreat, As shadows of worries dance under my feet. A chorus of doubt, it swells and it grows, In the silence I long for, no respite it shows. Yet somewhere in chaos, a whisper so small, Calls me to stillness, a balm through it all. “Breathe deep,” it reminds me, “let currents flow free, For within all this noise, the truth waits for thee.”
