Beneath the Withering Sky
Promises whispered in twilight's breath,
Echo through shadows, dance with death.
A sky once blue now crumbles to grey,
We tread on edges where hopes decay.
Our dreams like petals, precious yet frail,
Drift on the winds, a forgotten tale.
Yet still we gather, our hearts in a bind,
In the quiet moments, love's light we find.
Beneath the withering, we vow to remain,
Unbroken spirits, through loss and through pain.
For even as skies wither and fall,
The promises forged will outlast it all.
Fading Echoes
As twilight wraps the world in grace,
The sun dips low, a warm embrace.
A kiss once sweet, now bittersweet,
With every dusk, the flavors fleet.
The taste of dreams, a fleeting gift,
In shadows long, our spirits drift.
Each sunset marks a love once bright,
Yet in its glow, we seek the light.
As daylight fades, the echoes play,
A tender touch that slipped away.
Though borrowed time, we hold it dear,
In every breath, your whisper here.
