Whispers of Trust
In twilight's glow, where laughter fades,
A heart once bright, now carrying shades,
Promises whispered on the breeze,
Turn to echoes, lost in the trees.
Once hand in hand, we danced through the night,
Now shadows linger, blocking the light,
The trust we built, like castles in sand,
Was washed away by a cruel hand.
What was so sweet turned bitter, it seems,
As love’s sweet song unraveled our dreams,
Fading echoes of laughter turned silent,
In the stillness, our spirits are violent.
Yet within the ache, a lesson remains,
Love’s fragile thread can bind or bring pains,
So cherish the laughter before it can wane,
And guard your heart from betrayal's disdain.
Veils of Deceit
In twilight's hush, where trust once bloomed,
A heart now lies, in shadowed gloom.
With whispered vows, you lured me near,
Yet, chasms deep are now all I fear.
Your smile, a mask that cloaked the knife,
I danced in dreams, not knowing strife.
Each tender glance, a fleeting lie,
Like whispered secrets, left to die.
The world grew dull, a faded hue,
As trust was shattered, lost from view.
Yet from these shards, I rise anew,
With strength reclaimed, I break from you.
