Grace in Flight
In silent skies where shadows glide,
The kestrel hunts with beauty, pride.
Wings stretched wide, a silhouette,
A dancer poised, a fierce duet.
With steady gaze, it scours the land,
Each rustling leaf, each grain of sand.
A flash of feather, a feathered spear,
In whispered winds, the prey draws near.
Soaring high with effortless grace,
A predator's heart, a wild embrace.
In twilight glow, in golden light,
The kestrel sings, a silent flight.
Kestrel at Dusk
As daylight flows like molten gold,
The kestrel's wings in shadows bold,
A silhouette against the sky,
Where sun and horizon softly lie.
It perches high on whispered breeze,
Among the sighs of ancient trees,
With eyes like amber, keen and bright,
A watchful guardian of the night.
Crimson hues in fading light,
Craft a canvas, pure and bright,
The world's a stage, the curtains drawn,
As kestrel bids the day be gone.
