Angelic Vigil
In the hush of winter’s embrace,
Where starlit whispers softly trace,
The shepherds gaze with awe and light,
As angelic voices fill the night.
Across the fields, the echoes soar,
A hymn of peace they can’t ignore,
With every note, their hearts ignite,
Awake, alive in joyful flight.
The sheep are still, the world at rest,
But hope alights within their breast,
For in this calm, the promise bright,
Shall grace the earth, come pure delight.
Dawn's Gentle Promise
In fields where sheep in silence lay,
The night gives way to breaking day.
Shepherds, drawn by hope's soft call,
Awake to witness love's great thrall.
A star, a light, in humble sight,
Guides weary hearts through darkest night.
With every breath, the miracle unfolds,
A tale of joy in whispers told.
Their flocks at peace, they lift their eyes,
To greet the dawn, to hear the skies.
In every flutter, every sound,
The Advent of a joy profound.
So let us join in heart and song,
For in this moment, we belong.
With shepherds near, our spirits rise,
Awash in grace as love replies.
Journey Through Frost
Beneath the frost, where shadows creep,
The shepherds tread, their vigil keep.
With weary hearts and candles bright,
They journey forth through winter's night.
The stars above, like diamonds cast,
Guide humble souls through the deep, cold blast.
In Bethlehem’s glow, their faith a spark,
Illuminates the path through the dark.
With whispers of hope, the angels sing,
As shepherds gather, their offering.
In every step, through icy breath,
They find the warmth that conquers death.
So let us follow, like these brave men,
Through winter’s clutch to joy again.
For in the frost, a promise lies,
The love of Christmas in starlit skies.
