Rope's Whirl
A length of rope, so long and wide,
Danced in the breeze, full of pride.
Tied in a loop, oh what a thrill,
It twirled and spun, against its will.
Round and round, like a merry-go-round,
With laughter and joy it galloped around.
Tangled in giggles, it snickered and swayed,
In this rope's embrace, all worries betrayed.
So grab a hold, give it a whirl,
Join in the fun, let your toes curl!
For in this loop, life's troubles are light,
A rope's simple joy can bring pure delight.
The Ropes That Laugh
In a corner of the yard, a rope does lie,
Coiled and twisted, under the blue sky.
Whimsical knots tell tales of its past,
Of pirate ships sailing, adventures so vast.
One knot is a sailor, brimming with glee,
Telling tall tales of the vast, azure sea.
Another, a jester, goes ‘round with a grin,
Pulling pranks at the breeze, chuckling within.
“Untie us!” they plead, “Let stories unfold,
Of tightrope walkers and treasure untold!”
But here I just chuckle, give a gentle tug,
My playful old rope, snug as a bug.
So let them weave laughter, those knots in a row,
For in their wild twirl, life’s wonders will flow.
Though merely a length, with threads worn and frayed,
Each twist and each turn, a joy parade laid.
Rope-venture
On a bumpy ride, the rope swings high,
With knots and twists, we sail the sky.
Tied to a tree, and then to a post,
We bounce and sway, laughing the most.
Each jolt a giggle, each tug a twist,
An elastic voyage, none can resist.
Summersaults with each drop, a playful frolic,
On our trusty rope, adventure's melodic.
It swings like a pendulum, wild and free,
Navigating our laughter, a joyful spree.
Though it might tangle, we joyfully cope,
Life’s silly antics, all thanks to the rope.
