Whispers of the Wind
Your voice whispers in the wind,
A fleeting echo, soft and thin.
It dances lightly through the trees,
A gentle sigh upon the breeze.
In twilight's glow, I close my eyes,
And hear the laughter, hear the sighs.
Each note a memory, bittersweet,
A love that lingers, incomplete.
The rustling leaves, they speak your name,
In every gust, a flicker of flame.
Though distance stretches, heartstrings fray,
Your whispers guide me on my way.
Through misty dreams and starry skies,
I feel you near, though worlds divide.
A haunting melody, strong and pure,
Your voice in the wind, my heart's allure.
Echoes in Faded Frames
In dusty albums, echoes linger,
Faded photographs whisper your name,
Moments preserved, yet time's cruel finger,
Has turned bright memories to shades of gray.
Your laughter dances in sepia tones,
While shadows stretch over faces once bright,
Each captured glance, a heart-chilling phone,
Rings through the silence of long, lonely nights.
We were a symphony, now a lone note,
In frames where our smiles forever reside,
Yet as I linger, my heart learns to float,
In the sepulcher of a love that had died.
Fleeting Dreams
In twilight's grasp, our laughter lingers,
A dance of shadows, where memory's fingers,
Weave stories soft as the morning's sigh,
Yet as dawn breaks, the colors die.
Silhouettes fade in the light of day,
The whispers of night slowly drift away,
In fading echoes, I search the sky,
For dreams we spun, now bidding goodbye.
