Mirrored Mischief
In a hall of mirrors, oh what a sight, Reflections of giggles, a pure delight! One with a nose like a giant balloon, Another with clothes of a chicken costume. A wizard once waved his wand by mistake, And now all the mirrors are starting to shake. They shimmer and glimmer, play tricks on the eye, Turning smiles into grins that just can’t deny. With every new visage, a hearty laugh grows, One smirks like a fish, while another one glows. Oh, such funny faces, the finest of mixes, In this enchanted room, we’re all just silly pixies!
The Dancing Spell
In a wizard’s hat, a secret lay, A flick of the wrist, and I’d soar away. But as I recited the ancient psalm, My broomstick trembled, my heart was calm. With a whoosh and a whirl, I took to the sky, Yet something went wrong, and oh, my oh my! Instead of a flight through the clouds so bright, I found myself two-stepping in broad daylight. Spinning and twirling, with no ground in sight, I danced with the wind, oh what a delight! The grumpy old crows, in a flurry they cried, As I jigged on a cloud, with a grin far and wide. So if you seek flight, heed this little tale, Check your spell’s end, lest you end with a wail. For magic is tricky, a mischievous sprite, You may end up dancing when you yearn for flight!
Broomstick Blunders
In a field beneath the moon's warm glow, Broomsticks aligned, all set to go. A witch with a wink, her hat cocked tight, Yelled, "On your marks! Let’s take flight!" Up they zoomed, a whirly spree, Chasing shadows, wild and free. But one broom stumbled, caught a breeze, And off flew a cat—oh, what a tease! It twisted and turned, no end in sight, While witches shrieked with pure delight. A ghostly laugh, a flying shoe, "Where's the finish line?" one flew askew! A tangle of hats, and a twist of tails, The race became the stuff of tales. So next year’s race, we know not to fret, Just bring a spare broom—and place your bet!
