Twilight Waltz
In the glow of dusk, where shadows play,
We twirl in laughter, the world fades away.
With creaking floors that echo our past,
Each movement a memory, held ever fast.
Your hand in mine, a timeworn embrace,
In this humble room, our favorite place.
Though silver strands may adorn our heads,
In our hearts, we dance, forever young threads.
The music whispers secrets of love’s sweet refrain,
With every turn, we defy the mundane.
As stars peek through windows, our spirits ignite,
Two souls intertwined, in the soft, golden light.
Frames of Time
In sepia tones and faded hue,
We find our laughter, our journey too.
Each photograph, a whispered tale,
Of sunsets bright and stormy gales.
Your hand in mine, as years unfold,
With every wrinkle, a story told.
Memories woven, like threads of gold,
In the fabric of love, growing bold.
A dance through decades, a gentle waltz,
In the frame of time, through joys and faults.
Together we smile in the soft evening light,
Old photographs guide us; our love burns bright.
Winter’s Embrace
Beneath the weight of winter’s sigh,
We huddle close, just you and I.
The world outside is crisp and cold,
But here, our hearts are warm, behold.
Shared blankets drape like whispered dreams,
While howling winds compose their themes.
We sip our cocoa, laughter flows,
In every glance, love gently grows.
The fire glows bright, casting soft light,
Each crackling ember a starry night.
With hands entwined, we watch the snow,
And count the blessings that we know.
Time adds its lines, yet soft and bold,
Our woven stories never grow old.
Together we savor the chilly air,
In winter’s warmth, nothing compares.
