Cinders in Twilight
In twilight's grip, the shadows creep,
Cinders dance, where silence weeps.
Ghosts of flames in whispers sigh,
As embers fade, and hopes deny.
Fractured dreams in ashes lie,
Underneath the darkening sky.
Once so bright, the fire's glow,
Now a flicker, lost in woe.
Each spark that rises, a fleeting prayer,
Loved and lost in the chilling air.
Yet in despair, a spark can start,
A new flame kindles, from broken heart.
Ashes of Ambition
In the hearth of dreams, where embers glow,
Shattered hopes like shadows dance to and fro.
Once bright aspirations, now flickering low,
A waltz of despair in the fire's warm throe.
Scarlet flames whisper of journeys undone,
Each spark tells a tale of battles lost, won.
Amidst the warm sighs, the memories spun,
The embers still smolder, though victory's gone.
What was once ignited by passion's fierce breath,
Now smolders in silence, like dreams faced with death.
Yet in the soft glow, a flicker, a quest,
To rise from the ashes, to dare to invest.
Embers of Sorrow
In the hearth where shadows play,
Fire’s glow ignites the night,
Mocking whispers of dismay,
A dance of flames, a cruel delight.
Each flicker calls, a siren's song,
Illuminating wounds unseen,
Yet deep within, where hearts belong,
Lies a sorrow, cold and keen.
As embers fade and ashes fall,
The silence wraps its heavy shroud,
In the warmth, despair stands tall,
A haunting presence, dark yet proud.
