Whispers to the Void
In the quiet depths of night I stand, With truths that slip like grains of sand. Words spill forth, a solitary stream, To echoes hidden, in shadows they gleam. I speak to walls, to ceiling, to air, Each syllable dances, yet none seem to care. My heart, a compass, points true to the core, Yet silence answers, a thief at the door. Confessions laced with longing and doubt, In the absence of ears, I scream and shout. For what is a voice when no soul is near? A ghostly melody—beautiful, clear. Still I rise with the dawn, my truths painted bright, In the chamber of solitude, I find my light. Though you may not hear, I'll still choose to sing, For the truth rings louder than any tethered string.
Whispers in the Shadows
In the hush of twilight's embrace, Secrets twine like shadows in a race. Behind closed doors, the truth does dwell, A whispered tale, a silent spell. Fingers trace the grain of wood, Each knot a memory, misunderstood. I speak to walls, confide in air, Revealing thoughts that linger there. Unraveling yarns of fear and delight, Every whispered word ignites the night. In solitude’s grip, the heart lays bare, A monologue born from a secret affair. And though the world outside may chime, I find my peace in rhythms of rhyme. For within these bounds, my truths explore, The depths of a soul behind the door.
Whispers to the Moon
Oh, silvery moon, I cast my dreams, In whispers soft, like gentle streams, Tonight, I share my hopes untold, In the quiet glow, where shadows unfold. I speak of love, sweet and sincere, Of paths less traveled, cast away fear, Of stars aligned, and wishes spun, In the cool embrace of night begun. Each word a wish, each sigh a plea, To dance with fate, to ever be free, I tell of journeys, near and far, Of finding light in a sky full of stars. So listen well, my luminous friend, For in your light, my thoughts transcend, In moonlight's grace, I send it high, These dreams of mine, to the velvet sky.
