The Weight of Wings
Caps thrown high, the cheers resound,
Yet in the heart, a pang is found.
Time to soar, to seek the sky,
But fear takes hold and whispers, why?
With dreams alight, the future gleams,
Yet shadows murmur lost ambitions' themes.
Between the thrill and daunting height,
The paradox of day and night.
Step beyond the safety's shore,
Embrace the winds, it's time to soar.
For every fear that grips us tight,
Is but a tether to take flight.
Fading Echoes, Blossoming Dreams
In caps and gowns, we gather tight,
With echoes of laughter in fading light.
Yesterday's whispers, like petals, fall,
Yet in this twilight, we rise, we stand tall.
Hope blooms brightly in hearts once torn,
As we step from the shadows, new paths we adorn.
Each memory cherished, each tear gently shed,
A paradox woven, where futures are bred.
With each step forward, the past drifts away,
Yet roots of our journey forever shall stay.
In the garden of dreams, where yesterday fades,
Hope blossoms anew in the choices we’ve made.
Beyond the Horizon
In caps and gowns, on this bright day,
We stand in line, dreams on display.
Yet whispers of futures flicker like stars,
Just beyond reach, like distant cars.
The world awaits with its grand allure,
But fears of failure, oh, they endure.
With each step forward, a shadow looms,
A paradox hid in graduation's blooms.
With every cheer, a heart takes flight,
To chase the dreams that haunt the night.
In joy and doubt, we tread this path,
For every ending sparks another's math.
So lift your gaze to the shimmering sky,
For dreams, though distant, dare to fly.
In this paradox, we find our way,
Let courage lead, come what may.
