Wavelengths Apart
Across the miles, we stretch and bend, Two hearts aligned, though time's our friend. Your dawn is my dusk, yet still we find, A bridge of whispers that entwine our mind. Through screens we share the laughter bright, Moments captured in pixel light. The clock may tick in different streams, Yet love transcends the fabric of dreams. So here we stand on opposite shores, With every message, our spirit soars. Distance, a thief? No, it’s merely the hue, Of friendship, vibrant, forever true.
Counting Days to Togetherness
In quiet moments, time unfurls, Each ticking second softly swirls. A countdown marks the days we miss, Until we share that longed-for bliss. With every dawn, a number fades, A path of hope that brightly cascades. Though miles apart, our hearts still beat, In shared laughter, our souls repeat. So here’s to ten days till we embrace, Nine until I see your face. Each hour a step, each minute a bridge, Crossing the void, we’ll soon be rid. Just three more nights, two breaths apart, And soon, dear friend, we’ll restart the art Of weaving dreams and tales anew, Counting down till I’m with you.
Postcards of the Heart
Across the miles, I send my words, A postcard wrapped in dreams unheard. In ink, the love that knows no bounds, A friendship forged where warmth surrounds. Through mountains high and oceans blue, These postage cards, my thoughts to you. Each stamp a smile, each corner turns, A piece of heart that brightly burns. Though distance stretches far and wide, In every line, my soul’s confide. So as you read, feel the embrace, For love, my friend, transcends all space.
