The Wobbly Wave
In the sunlit park, my freedom took flight, I pedaled with glee, oh what a delight! But a sneeze caught me off guard, oh what a mistake, Down I went tumbling, my heart in a shake. My feet waved like flags as I flailed in fright, A sight for the ages, oh what a weird sight! The trees stood in laughter, the clouds held their breath, As I rode the wild whirlwind of youthful misstep. Onlookers chuckled, they waved back at me, With my bike in the grass, my pride lost at sea. Yet, in every mishap, a memory stays, Of laughter and falling, in those carefree days.
The Great Bread Blunder
I flour the counter, mix it with glee, A loaf in my dreams, as grand as can be. Water's too hot, oh where did I fail? The yeast lies defeated, my hopes quickly pale. Kneading with vigor, I summon my might, A doughy disaster, not quite out of sight. With laughter and tears, I shape it with flair, A monster of bread, can it even compare? Oven’s at temperature, I'm filled with delight, A crust forms a cap that’s a comical sight. Out comes my treasure, it wobbles and shakes, A loaf made for giants, a feast for the fakes. So, we slice it with caution, and take a small bite, It’s hard as a rock, yet we laugh in the night. With jokes on our tongues, and crumbs on the floor, This epic bread fail won’t stop us for sure!
The Sock Parade
On laundry day, a wild delight, Mismatched socks, a colorful sight. A polka dot danced with stripes so bold, A tale of laughter waiting to unfold. One sock a cheetah, the other a bear, In their cotton world without a care. Squeezed in the wash, they spun and twirled,\nCreating a frenzy in our sock-dominated world. Whispers of chaos, a comic ballet, Where odd pairs proudly led the way. From cupboard to floor, a mismatched spree, Every sock a story, each one unique, you see. So here’s to the laundry, a whimsical mess, The joy of mismatch—oh, what a dress! For life’s not a race, but a playful romp, With mismatched socks, let laughter be our trump.
