The Tide's Lament
Each wave a whisper, soft and low, A dance of loss in ebb and flow. The shoreline sighs beneath the foam, As sands erode, they lose their home. Tidal rhythms weave a tale, Of once proud cliffs now frail and pale. With every surge, a piece departs, Nature's dance, a breaking heart. The ocean's breath, a constant thief, Claiming earth, inspiring grief. Yet in the rhythm, beauty stands, In every loss, a shape of hands. The shores remember, though they fade, The footprints washed, the dreams that played. For in the depths of every wave, Lies the promise that remains brave.
Whispers of the Shore
Faded footprints on the sand, Ebbing tides, a gentle hand, Memories whisper, soft and low, Carried away where lost winds blow. Echoes linger, faces fade, Time’s embrace, a silent trade, Waves' sweet kiss, a lover's sigh, Erosion’s art, as moments die. Yet in the shells that chance to stay, Fragments of us find their way, Though washed away, we drift, we roam, In tides of time, we find our home.
Whispers of the Tide
Shells gather dust where laughter played, The tides retreat, and dreams now fade. Granite memories in sand, they lie, Where once we soared beneath the sky. Cresting waves, a soft goodbye, Erosion’s song, a mournful sigh. Each footprint lost, a tale erased, In shifting earth, the past embraced. Yet seashells whisper, secrets shared, Of sunlit days when hearts declared, That love, like beaches, ebbs and flows, In every grain, a story grows.
