Sailing Dreams
In a world where paper boats
Set sail on rivers of the mind,
Children play with whispered hope,
Leaving all their cares behind.
With crayons bright and colors bold,
They craft their ships with laughter's cheer,
Each stroke a dream, a story told,
As imagination steers them near.
Through clouds of cotton, winds of play,
They drift to lands where dragons dwell,
Where unicorns prance and fairies sway,
And every shadow holds a spell.
Oh, to sail on dreams so light,
Where hearts can dance and spirits roam,
In paper boats, through day and night,
They find their world, they find their home.
Ephemeral Dreams
In the golden light of a summer's day,
Children gather where the warm sands lay,
With buckets and shovels, they build with glee,
Sandcastles sprouting like dreams from the sea.
Tall towers rise, with moats carved deep,
A kingdom of laughter, no secrets to keep,
But the tide whispers softly, with a salt-kissed sigh,
As it dances to shores, where sandcastles die.
Glistening walls that held a young throne,
With each azure wave, their magic is blown,
The castle now crumbles, a brief fleeting sight,
Yet giggles persist, as they chase pure delight.
For in every castle that meets ocean's face,
Lies joy in creation, in time and in space,
Though washed away by the tide's gentle hand,
The memories linger, like castles of sand.
Puddle Jumpers' Delight
In silver drizzles, the world awakes,
Children dash through the soft, wet shakes.
With laughter rich as the skies above,
They leap in puddles, their hearts in love.
Each splash, a dance, each drop, a tune,
As rain-kissed boots make joyful swoon.
Colors spin in the watery mirth,
A canvas of joy upon the earth.
So let it rain, let the clouds play loud,
For in these moments, we dance unbowed.
With each jumping cheer, a bond to treasure,
In rainy days, we find our pleasure.
