Whispers in the Glow
In the pub’s embrace, the moonlight spills,
Candles flicker, dancing with old thrills.
Voices murmur, stories emerge,
From shadows where laughter and memories surge.
A bard leans close, his tales entwine,
Of lost love, old friends, and the passage of time.
With every flicker, the past comes alive,
In the warmth of the glow, we cherish, we thrive.
Glass clinks in rhythm, as hearts intertwine,
Each candle a beacon, a moment divine.
So let us gather 'neath this tender light,
And weave through the night, our stories ignite.
Cheers to Dreams
In shadows cast by amber glow,
Where laughter blends with whispers low,
We raise our glasses, hearts laid bare,
To dreams that danced, now swirling air.
With every clink, the memories flow,
Of aspirations, high and low,
Yet in the night, the stories fade,
In fleeting moments, dreams betrayed.
But still we toast, though hopes may wane,
To nights of joy, to laughter's reign,
For in our hearts, the dreams still play,
Cheers to the ones that slipped away.
