Echoes of Silence
In a room where shadows loom,
A child's laughter fades to gloom.
Angry voices, like thunder,
Crush the joy, tear asunder.
Tiny hands that once held light,
Now shake with fear in the night.
The playful giggles, bright and clear,
Drowned in echoes of hurtful jeers.
Walls that once hugged tender dreams,
Now shatter with shrieks and screams.
Innocence lost, the sweetness blurred,
A heart breaks softly, unheard, unheard.
Fingers That Fail
Hands that should hold, yet only sway,
Fingers that push and drift away,
In shadows of silence, the child's heart clings,
To a hope that the night might unbind broken things.
Promises whispered, like secrets in air,
Turned into thorns instead of a prayer,
A cradle of longing, in a fortress of pain,
Where love should have flourished, now sorrow remains.
Eyes once so gentle now cast aside blame,
In the echo of choices, the child wears disdain,
Yet in whispered dreams, a voice softly stays,
For even through storms, love seeks brighter days.
Echoes of Solitude
In shadowed rooms where whispers sigh,
Lonely nights, beneath a starless sky.
Hollow hearts in a suffocating trance,
Yearning for warmth, a fleeting glance.
Fingers trace the empty sheets,
Where laughter lingered, love's retreats.
Chasing shadows, my only dance,
Dreams of solace, a broken chance.
Each hour drags, relentless pain,
In silence, echoes of disdain.
Searching for solace in whispered dreams,
Yet finding only loud, unspoken themes.
So, I roam through thoughts unkind,
For affection sought, but never mined.
In the stillness, my heart weeps tight,
In the depth of night, alone I fight.
