Whispers of Farewell
Golden leaves whisper goodbye,
As summer’s warmth begins to fade,
In twilight hues, the branches sigh,
A chill in the air, where memories wade.
Crimson sunsets paint the skies,
While shadows stretch, long and deep,
The laughter of sunlit days,
Now echoes in the heart, we keep.
Softly the breezes carry,
Echoes of a sun-kissed dream,
Through trees that sway and tarry,
In a dance of loss, they beam.
Though summer slips from grasping hands,
And daylight shortens, night expands,
In every leave that twirls and flies,
A whispered love, the autumn sighs.
Whispers of Warmth
In amber hues, the leaves descend,
Soft whispers where the warm days blend,
A golden sun sinks, sighs of loss,
As autumn takes its jeweled gloss.
Each breeze a memory, sweet and thin,
Of laughter, light, where summer's been,
The light grows dim, the shadows stretch,
In nostalgia's arms, our hearts are etched.
Yet in this chill, a tender grace,
The harvest’s pulse, a warm embrace,
Though summer's song may fade from light,
We find its echoes in autumn's night.
Whispers of Fall
In amber fields where shadows creep,
The sun retreats, its promise steep,
A whisper stirs the cooling air,
As pumpkin spice bids summer's fare.
The leaves, like memories, drift and sway,
In rust and gold they dance and play,
Yet in their swirling, soft lament,
I taste the warmth of days now spent.
Each sip recalls the bright sun's glow,
The laughter shared in love's soft flow,
Yet here, amid the harvest's call,
I mourn the summer's gentle thrall.
