In a kingdom of cushions, where sunbeams collide,
A sassy cat reigns, with a flick of her pride.
She struts on her throne, a soft furry queen,
With a tail held high, in regal sheen.
Her subjects, the humans, they dance and they serve,
With treats in their hands, oh the things they preserve!
She twirls with a smirk, on her whiskers a flick,
In her kingdom of chaos, she’s clever and slick.
When the day turns to dusk, and the moon takes her place,
Sassy sovereign curls up, her rule left to grace.
With a purr and a yawn, she concedes for the night,
A ruler of laughter, our heart’s pure delight.
The Cat's Kingdom
Upon the couch, so soft and wide,
My furry friend claims royal pride.
With fur as fine as velvet night,
This throne of comfort, pure delight.
Each paw prints bold, a ruler's mark,
In sunny spots, they reign and lark.
A nap, a pounce, a playful leap,
This couch of dreams, our secrets keep.
We laugh at all their antics bold,
The leaps, the bounds, the tales retold.
In every scratch and gentle snooze,
A furry monarch, we must choose.
