Whispers of Youth
In fields of green, where daisies play, We danced with shadows, lost in the sway. A dragonfly's blush, a tadpole's leap, In laughter and whispers, our secrets we keep. The rustle of leaves, a blanket of sun, Chasing our dreams, oh how we’d run! With pockets of pebbles, and hearts full of cheer, Each moment's a treasure, forever held dear. The scent of fresh rain, a swing's gentle flight, In our small kingdom, we ruled day and night. Each smile a bead on our joyful thread, In simple small moments, our childhood we thread.
Whispers in the Fort
Underneath the starry sky, A blanket fort, just you and I, With shadows dancing on the wall, In whispered tones, we’d rise and fall. A world of dragons, knights in flight, Adventures spun into the night, The tales we wove, both bold and bright, In cozy corners, hearts alight. With every story, dreams took form, In laughter’s warmth, we found our norm, The outside world, a distant shore, In the blanket fort, we wanted more. So let the twilight wrap us tight, As we share dreams until first light, In those childhood nights, so sweet, so true, The fort remains, just me and you.
Twilight Whispers
In twilight's warm embrace they soar, The fireflies dance, at dusk's front door. With flickering lights, like stars they play, Guiding our hearts through childhood's sway. Beneath the sky, a canvas wide, Where laughter and dreams in shadows hide, We chase the glow of fleeting night, In the tender glow, all feels just right. Whispers of wonder in the cooling air, Each spark a memory, cherished, rare. Oh, to return to that magical phase, When time stood still in childhood days.
