Lefse Delights
In winter's glow and summer's light, We gather 'round with hearts so bright. Each tender square, a savory slice, A dance of flavors, oh so nice. With butter spread and sugar's kiss, A taste of home, a moment's bliss. At every feast, each laughter shared, Lefse whispers love, the joy declared. Through festive nights and sunlit days, In every bite, a memory stays. From family ties and friends so dear, Lefse binds us, year after year.
Lefse by the Fire
On winter's breath, the cold winds bite, But here I sit, the hearth alight. A golden disk, of flour made, With butter's kiss, my heart's parade. Oh, warm lefse, soft and sweet, A cozy wrap, a tasty treat. Maple syrup flows like dreams, In the glow of flickering beams. Snowflakes dance upon the pane, Yet, here inside, there's no such pain. With every bite, the world melts away, In winter's grasp, it's a warm ballet.
