Whispers of Autumn
In amber hues, the leaves descend,
They twirl and spin, in dance they bend.
Each fluttered sigh, a secret shared,
Of summer's warmth and moments dared.
From branches bare, to earth they glide,
With whispers soft, in twilight's tide.
They tell of change, of time’s embrace,
In every drift, a fleeting trace.
As breezes hum their quiet tune,
The air is laced with hints of June.
Yet here they fall, a tender art,
Each leaf a wish, a lover's heart.
Whispers of Autumn
Crisp leaves crunch beneath my feet,
A symphony of summer's retreat.
Echoes of laughter, both soft and bright,
Dance in the air, on this autumn night.
Golden hues in fading light,
Nature's canvas, such a sight.
Forgotten memories swirl and weave,
In the tender sigh of a deciduous leave.
Each step a story, a time long past,
Moments like whispers, too sweet to last.
Beneath the branches, where shadows play,
I gather the echoes of yesterday.
