Baking Joy
In a cozy kitchen, with flour in the air,
We mix and we measure, with giggles to share.
Creamy butter and sugar, we blend with delight,
Sprinkles and frostings make everything bright.
Round silver trays, they line up in a row,
Gingerbread men dancing, oh how they glow!
Chocolate chip smiles, and candy cane trees,
Each bite holds a wish, like whispers in the breeze.
With love in our hearts, and warmth in the oven,
We bake every cookie, a gift from above,
Wrapped up with a ribbon, a sprinkle of cheer,
Merry moments made, our favorite time of year!
Carols by the Firelight
As snowflakes dance in the frosty air,
We gather 'round the fire's warm flare.
With mittens snug and cheeks aglow,
We sing our carols, voices flow.
The crackling logs, a soft embrace,
Reflect the joy on every face.
With laughter bright and hearts so light,
Our melodies take joyful flight.
The stockings hung, the tree adorned,
In this sweet space, friendships are formed.
Beneath the stars, a wish we cast,
For memories made, forever to last.
So let us sing, let our voices rise,
With twinkling lights and starry skies.
For Christmas joy in the flicker’s glow,
Is found in the songs that we all know.
