Echoes of the Moors
Amidst the thunderous clash and call,
Where gales dance wild and shadows sprawl,
The moors breathe out a restless sigh,
A mirror of hearts that ache and cry.
Beneath the skies of tempest gray,
Love's fervor flickers, then fades away,
Like heather blooms in bitter frost,
Yearning soul in tempest lost.
Wuthering winds weave tales untold,
Of passion fierce and spirits bold,
Each jagged stone and twisted tree,
Reflecting chaos deep in me.
In the wild embrace of nature's rage,
Lie secrets bound, like sorrowed page,
For in this landscape stark and free,
Lies the tumult of my destiny.
Mists of Memory
In twilight's glow, where shadows blend,
Memories linger, the past won’t end,
Like mist that dances on the moors,
Whispers of love behind closed doors.
Heathcliff's sigh, Catherine's call,
Echo through valleys, they rise and fall,
In silence wrapped, where wild winds play,
Their tales of passion will not decay.
Each gust of air, a love once fierce,
Through bramble and thorn, their hearts did pierce,
As haunting mists in the evening light,
Preserve the ghosts of their fervent plight.
