Tiny kingdoms in the plaster flow,
Crumbling dreams in tectonic embrace,
Imagined skies where we cannot go,
Yet wander freely, lost in this space.
A universe trapped in a weary dome,
Dust motes dancing like thoughts astray,
As I reach for the stars, my heart feels at home,
In the quiet chaos of gray ballet.
