Whispers on the Edge
In sterile halls where silence weaves, Hope lingers on, the heart believes. Each stark white wall, a canvas bare, Yet memories dance in the tainted air. The shadows play, they softly sway, In corners where the lost may stay. A single sprout, a fragile bloom, Defies the chill of the sterile room. With every breath, a story spun, Of battles fought and victories won. In vacant spaces, dreams ignite, Hope lingers on in the fading light.
Faded Hues
Behind the sterile walls of white, Colors whisper, out of sight; Crimson dreams and azure skies, Dulled to gray where silence lies. Brushstrokes of life, once bold and bright, Now linger faintly, dimmed by light; A canvas cleansed, devoid of cheer, Yet in the shadows, colors leer. Worn edges of forgotten tales, Where laughter's echo sweetly pales. In sterile rooms, the heart lies bare, Yearning for shades that once were there.
