The Scarecrow's Triumph
Why did the scarecrow win an award, you ask? For standing so tall - a remarkable task! In fields of gold, he shooed away crows, With straw-filled laughter, his confidence grows. In patched-up attire, with a hat on his head, He kept watch on crops, his intentions pure-bred. With each silly joke, he'd dance in the breeze, Making farmers chuckle, with effortless ease. So here’s to the scarecrow, our champion friend, Who planted the smiles that won't ever end! For in every field where his shadows now sway, He taught us to laugh, rain or shine, every day.
Tears Beneath the Waves
Can you cry underwater, oh what a sight! As bubbles rise softly in the morning light. Would a tear be a droplet, or lost to the sea, In the swell of your laughter, would you still swim free? With waves for a pillow, and currents so sly, Would the sadness transform, as the tides whisper why? In the depths of your heart, while the fish swim around, Could you laugh or could you weep, without making a sound? So ponder this question while floating in glee, Can you cry underwater, yet still be carefree? For life’s such a swim, through the joy and the strife, We may cry in the deep, yet celebrate life.
